Brand Guidelines — Volume 01 — 2026

We Build The Rocket.
You Take Off.

See it. Believe it. Build it.

What LiftOff is

A venture builder fellowship. Kintyre originates and funds pre-revenue ventures. LiftOff selects three exceptional young entrepreneurs per cohort, gives each real equity in one of those ventures, and backs them to build it from pre-revenue to scale.

What it is not

  • Not an incubator.
  • Not a startup hub.
  • Not a development programme.

Endorsed sub-brand: unmistakably Kintyre — younger, faster, more kinetic.

02Personality

Personality

LiftOff inherits the Kintyre archetype set — Rebel, Explorer, Magician, Ruler — and leans hardest into the first two. The Ruler never disappears: it is the reason a 24-year-old founder can be handed a real cap table.

Rebel

Lead

Challenges how ventures get built in the Caribbean. Refuses the training-programme template.

Explorer

Lead

First-mover energy. Restless, on-the-ground, always further out than comfortable.

Magician

Inherited

Turns committed capital and a blank company into a working business.

Ruler

Inherited

Institutional credibility of a JSE Junior Market listed parent.

Personality keywords

AudaciousKineticMeritocraticInstitutional-gradeYoung but serious

The brand speaks to 22–32 year old builders. It never talks down to them, and it never uses corporate jargon.

03Color System

Color System

Inherited from Kintyre Brand Guidelines v1.2. No new core colors are invented for LiftOff — the palette is all green. Radical Red is retired: Volt carries the charge on dark fields and Signal takes it onto paper.

Forest

~50%

#062A20

Primary. Deep field backgrounds, headlines, weight and authority.

Volt

~20%

#C9F227

Secondary. The charge — highlights, links, key words, motion.

Canopy

~15%

#14563C

Supporting mid-tone. Cards, section breaks, gradient middle.

Signal

~10%

#2C8A3B

Light-field accent. Eyebrows, rules and markers where Volt is too bright.

Paper / Near-black

~5%

#F2F9EF

Paper fields and body text neutral (#0A1A14).

Balance

Signature element

The Ascent Gradient

Vertical: Forest #062A20 at the ground, through Canopy #14563C, to Volt #C9F227 at the top. Dark rising to light — the climb from ground to sky.

Rule: the Ascent Gradient is LiftOff's ownable visual asset. The parent Kintyre brand does not use it.

04Typography

Typography

One typeface, used two ways. Outfit — a geometric sans of modern simplicity — carries both the voice and the detail.

Display

Outfit

Bold to Black, tight tracking, often uppercase for section titles. Big, round, unapologetic.

Rule: never use more than these two typefaces.

06Visual Language

Visual Language

One motif carries the whole brand: the ascent line. Everything else gets out of its way.

Core motif — the ascent line

Progress

Photography — arcs on people

Young Jamaican founder leaping in celebration inside concentric Volt ascent arcs
Hero energy: nested arcs from the logo wrap the subject, one line crossing in front for depth.

Arcs rise behind the subject — never a border, always motion.
Two Caribbean founders building together, framed by Volt ascent arcs
Real founders, candid and in motion — building, presenting, celebrating.

Never staged stock handshakes. Deep Forest fields, Volt arcs drawn from the logo crescent, joy on camera. Jamaican and Caribbean entrepreneurs only — the people the brand actually backs.

Iconography

Thin-line, geometric, single-color. 1.5px strokes, no fills, no gradients.

Texture

Generous white space or deep Forest fields. No patterns, no noise, no decorative furniture. The brand is confident enough to be minimal.

07Voice & Tone

Voice & Tone

Direct, second-person, imperative. Short sentences. Verbs over adjectives. LiftOff is a business deal, not a development program — the language has to sound like one.
