We Build The Rocket.
You Take Off.

LiftOff is a venture builder fellowship by Kintyre Holdings. We originate the venture. We commit the capital. We hand you the keys — and real equity. Three founders per cohort. Pre-revenue to scale.
- Not an incubator
- Not a startup hub
- A venture. Yours.
- Backed by a JSE-listed group
- Built for the JSE Micro Market
The company exists. The capital is committed. What's missing is you.
Every year, brilliant young entrepreneurs across Jamaica and the Caribbean sit on talent with nowhere to point it. And every year, strong venture ideas die on whiteboards because nobody was free to build them.
LiftOff closes that gap.
Kintyre Holdings originates ventures — real companies, incorporated, capitalized, and connected to the infrastructure of a listed group. Through LiftOff, we match each of those ventures with one exceptional young founder. Not an intern. Not a trainee. A founder — with equity, a board, a budget, and a mandate: take this from pre-revenue to more.
LiftOff is the formal expression of Kintyre's operating philosophy — Originate. Build. Transition. We originate. You build. Together, we transition it into something that lasts.
“This is not a program you attend. It's a company you run.”
Three founders. Three ventures. One launchpad.
01
We originate.
Kintyre develops and validates venture concepts inside the group — fintech, consumer, platforms, and more. Each LiftOff venture enters the program incorporated, seeded, and ready to build.
02
We select.
A national call. A shortlist. A 72-hour build challenge. Panel interviews with Kintyre's executive leadership. Three founders emerge — The Three.

03
You build.
You take the CEO seat of your venture from day one. Kintyre provides seed capital, group infrastructure, shared services, first-customer access across our subsidiaries, and a board that includes the Chairman of Kintyre Holdings. You provide the fire.
04
We rise.
A 24-month program window with quarterly milestones and a 12-month wings check. The program ends. Your company doesn't. Every LiftOff venture is built to a public-company standard from day one — with a defined pathway to listing on the JSE Micro Market, the Jamaica Stock Exchange's new tier for micro and small companies, with Kintyre positioned as sponsor. We're not building side hustles. We're building listed companies.
Real equity. Real capital. Real stakes.
Founder Equity.
A significant founder equity stake in your venture, vesting over four years — with milestone accelerators that let you earn more by outperforming. Full terms are disclosed to finalists before selection.
Seed Capital.
Every LiftOff venture launches with committed seed capital from Kintyre Holdings. You start building on day one — not fundraising.
A Founder's Draw.
A monthly draw for the first phase of the program, so you can commit full-time to your company before it earns a dollar.
Group Infrastructure.
Your venture runs on HELM — Kintyre's group operating system — with finance, reporting, banking, communications, legal, and company secretarial support handled by the group from day one.

First Customers.
Access to Kintyre's subsidiary network and partners as your earliest customers, pilots, and distribution channels.
The Room.
A board seat structure that puts you in the room with Kintyre's leadership — including monthly founder sessions with the Chairman & CEO of Kintyre Holdings.
The Listing Pathway.
Every LiftOff venture is built to public-company standard from day one, with a defined pathway to listing on the JSE Micro Market — the Jamaica Stock Exchange's tier for micro and small companies — with Kintyre Holdings positioned as sponsor. You won't just build a business. You could ring the bell on it.
Read this before you apply
LiftOff is a deal, not a scholarship. Kintyre holds the majority of your venture at formation — we originated it, we fund it, and we carry it on our balance sheet. Your equity vests as you build. Miss milestones, and there's a structured path out. Hit them, and you own a meaningful piece of a company you took from zero. If that trade excites you, keep reading. If it scares you, that's fine too — this isn't for everyone.
We're not looking for résumés. We're looking for builders.
- You've shipped something real, with or without permission.
- You think in customers and revenue, not concepts and vibes.
- You can sell — your product, your vision, yourself.
- You're coachable, but you have opinions and you defend them.
- You want ownership, not employment.
- You're ready to commit full-time. This is not a side project.
No degree required. No connections required. Bring evidence, not credentials.

From application to ignition.

Shortlist.
We review every application. The strongest builders move forward.
Stage 3
The build challenge.
Finalists get a real business problem and 72 hours. We watch how you think, sell, and execute under pressure.
Stage 4
The panel.
Interviews with Kintyre's Chairman & CEO, Deputy CEO, and an independent director of the board.
Stage 5
Ignition.
The Three are announced publicly. Ventures are matched. Contracts signed. Engines on.
The group behind the launch.
Kintyre Holdings (JA) Limited is a diversified Jamaican investment holding company listed on the JSE Junior Market (KNTYR), with interests spanning media, technology, financial services, real estate, manufacturing, and consumer ventures. Headquartered in Kingston, Kintyre originates, builds, and transitions businesses across the Caribbean and beyond.
LiftOff is how the next generation joins that story — not as employees, but as owners.
See. Believe. Achieve.

Recent momentum
Kintyre listed on the JSE Junior Market as KNTYR and has kept building since — new subsidiaries, new markets, and a group operating system, HELM, that now runs finance, reporting and governance across the portfolio. LiftOff is the next chapter of that momentum, pointed straight at young Caribbean founders.
Originate. Build. Transition.
He built the group. Now he's building the founders.

He started the way most Caribbean founders start: no capital, no network, and a stubborn conviction that the idea was worth the risk. What followed was a decade of building — companies bought, companies built, companies turned around — until the group had a name, a balance sheet, and a listing on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
The lesson he took from it is the whole thesis behind LiftOff: the talent was never the scarce thing. Access was. Capital was. A board that answers the phone was. So Kintyre decided to supply all three and hand the wheel to founders young enough to run with it.
“I had to build the runway before I could fly. You don't. That's the entire point.”
